libaugeas0 software package provides Augeas configuration editing library and API, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libaugeas0
libaugeas0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libaugeas0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaugeas0 *
You will get with libaugeas0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
